21ST ANNIVERSARY - SEPTEMBER 6, 2024

If we look around our communities, we are very likely to recognize or recall our community's heroes: friends, neighbors, family members who help others overcome life's emergencies or everyday predicaments. They are often ordinary people who make extraordinary differences in helping others, sometimes with personal sacrifice. Waikoloa was blessed to have Aunty Mabel as one of them.
Aunty's own need to help people was constant, and her persistent and loving nature fulfilled the needs of many who sought her advice, knowledge, wisdom, or a comforting hug of aloha that conveyed a feeling that "everything would be alright."
Residents and general public are invited to place lei at the pohaku memorial during the month of September for her unwavering dedication to the Waikoloa Community. The memorial is located at 68-1674 Meipala Pl, Waikoloa, HI 96738.
