The ideal way to learn about the Sauna thermal
modeling program is to try the evaluation package.
The evaluation version of Sauna is nearly identical to the production
version. It is not a "canned" series of screen images. You can actually
create models and calculate temperatures using the same commands you would
use for the regular program.
However, although you can create any type of model, the
evaluation program will only let you calculate temperatures for
the sample exercises contained in the Sauna Quick Tours and certain
exercises taken directly from the Sauna User Manual.
While the evaluation package is an excellent way to learn about Sauna,
it will not be very useful for any of your current design projects.
To obtain the Sauna Evaluation Package, you will need to fill
out the brief form below, which includes an email address. The email address
will be used to send a link for downloading the software. Once the
software is installed, you will be able to work through the Sauna
Quick Tours and other exercises available at the
Sauna evaluation
exercises page. (If you wish, go to the exercises page now
to see the type of simulations which are covered.)
