My name is Sydney Nicole Kavanaugh. I am seven years old. My mom says that we found out about my disease in February 2001.
I love to read Junie B. Jones books. I love school, my mom sometimes helps out at school and sells popcorn on Fridays. I have a very special friend that I met online, her name is MacKenzie. She has the same disease as me. We mailed each other a picture and she has my rash too. It is nice to have a friend like MacKenzie. I also like to swim, but it is hard to find an indoor pool. I have to stay inside a lot. I have to use a lot of sunscreen if I do go outside. I don't like sunscreen but I still put it on like my mom says.
