My name is Shayla; I am 8 yrs old. I live in Austin, MN with my mom and dad and bigger brother. I was diagnosed with JDM in June of this year. Started having different problems about three years ago, nothing was diagnosed at that time. I love swimming in our pool and scrapbooking with my mom. I like playing with my friends. My mom tells me that I am sick in a different way and always makes sure that I take my medication. One thing I am excited about is being able to sit Indian-style again like my mom when she is doing my hair.
