Hi my name is Jessica Ann Lopez and I'm 9 years old. They call me JLo at the hospital. I was diagnosed with dermatomyositis on December 2, 2002. I was really scared. I've been in the hospital a lot of times. The most painful time is when I had osteoperosis. I couldn't even walk or sit down without a lot of pain. But now I'm over that and feeling much better. I'm still on a lot of medicines like chemo, predinisone, and I.V.I.G. I'm praying that I go into remission and that they find a cure very soon. My favorite things to do are sing and dance.
