My name is Gráinne, I am 15 years old, trans-non-binary, and live in Seattle. My favorite hobbies are singing, musical theatre, ballroom dancing, tattoo art, and dyeing my hair. I have a cat named Pippin, a dog named Daisy, two fish named Maashous and Anatole, and two brothers who shower me with love and support. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Polymyositis last June, three days before my 15th birthday. At the time I could barely walk or breathe and was in constant pain. I ended up missing lots of school and spending a week in Seattle Children’s hospital. Now I take gabapentin, prednisone, weekly methotrexate shots, and monthly IVIGs.
