Emily turned five on February 15, 2007. On April 19, she was diagnosed with JDM by a wonderful pediatric rheumatologist here in Atlanta. Em is in pre-k, and she is very happy that she is FINALLY learning to read :) At home, she loves to help her mommy garden, and has become quite a little expert on the subject. She has a miniature daschund named Muffin, and her favorite color is purple (it used to be red, but that has recently changed). Emily is also very good at remembering bible verses, and that is what her mommy and daddy are MOST proud of her for!
