Hi I'm Elijah and I live in Henderson, NV. I was diagnosed July 2010 at 7 years old. I love sports, but I mostly love soccer. I want to be a scientist or police officer when I grow up, but I plan on going to college and playing soccer the rest of my life. I used to be one of the very best on the competitive team out here, but then I got very sick and I could hardly move anymore. I had to do a lot of therapy and get help from a lot of doctors, who I am still going to see. I have gotten much better and am playing soccer as best as I can now. I also love reading, camping, fishing, and hanging out with my brothers, dad, and mom. I don't let my disease stop me from doing the things I love, but sometimes it's hard not to. I'm still on medication and we are all hoping for a cure!
