I’ve had to miss a lot of school for treatments and medical reasons, which really sucks during my senior year right now. The worst part about all of this is how many friends I lost because I couldn’t do normal teenage things with them like I used to outside anymore. I’ve had to learn how to find the positive a bad situation and how to appreciate the people in my life that have supported me. This disease is horrible and I hope a cure is found soon!
