My name is Clayton. I am 10 years old. I was diagnosed with JDM 3 years ago in 2011 after being misdiagnosed with growing pains and exema for two years. Finally after my school and my mom and dad told my pedestrian that there is something else wrong, she ran more test she sent me to Childrens Mercy hospital in Kansas City where Dr. Ibarra diagnosed me with JDM. I was very weak and my skin was red and purple all over. I have been on lots of medicine. Ivig,predizone, mexotrexate, cell cept just to name a few. I am currently flaring and just hope someday I can go into remission and they find a cure. I would like to meet other kids with JDM. I like video games, swimming, and reading Persey Jackson books.
